Job SummaryThe ITAMProduct Manager’s role is to convert the strategy & goals of the ITAM Services department into a product (and service) vision and product strategy and deliver profitable ITAM products into the marketplace.This role sits within SHI’s IT Asset Management team. The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our ITAM products. This role requires a deep understanding of IT asset management, market trends, customer needs, and the ability to translate these into innovative product solutions. ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:

Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for ITAM solutions, aligning with the company’s overall vision and business goals.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Define product requirements, create detailed user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and successful implementation of features.

Engage with customers, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into product improvements and new features.

Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to enhance product success.

Communicate product vision, progress, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting IT asset management.

Drive product launch activities, including creating marketing materials, training sales teams, and supporting go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner position

Agile Certified

Experience in ITAM or ITAM products

Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum.

Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering.

Certifications RequiredIf the following certifications are not currently held at time of hire, the candidate will be required to study and pass within a short period of commencing the role:

Complete all LISA Training Modules & pass all Exams

Agile Certified

Unique Requirements

This role will require occasional travel both nationally and internationally (25%)

Extended hours are required to complete some special projects

Additional Information

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
