Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant - Entry Level in Parsippany, New Jersey, 07054, United States. This role is within the manufacturing industry and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. As an Accountant - Entry Level, you will be tasked with managing various accounting functions, working with accounting software systems, and processing account coding, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions Execute account coding as per the company's guidelines Leverage Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV for efficient workflow Implement ERP solutions to streamline accounting processes Perform account analysis to ensure accurate financial records Make accounting entries as per the established procedures Manage account reconciliation tasks regularly Handle accounts payable (AP) to ensure timely payments Requirements Possession of skills in Account Coding, essential for correct allocation and tracking of accounting data. Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems to streamline and automate financial management processes. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, necessary for managing, reviewing and editing financial documents. Experience with Dynamics NAV, an enterprise resource planning solution, to improve business operations. Knowledge in implementing and working with ERP Solutions to enhance information sharing and management. Ability to perform Account Analysis, critical for understanding financial status and making informed decisions. Experience in making Accounting Entries, key to maintaining accurate financial records. Understanding of various Accounting Functions to ensure smooth operation of the finance department. Proven skills in Account Reconciliation, vital for ensuring financial statements are accurate and complete. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), important for maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
