We are seeking a Producer to join our dynamic newsroom. As a key player in our content team, you’ll sub-edit, produce, and publish high-quality stories that drive subscription growth and engage our readers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.Key responsibilities:Edit and produce stories in the content management system, focusing on quality and deadlines. Craft engaging combinations of headlines, write-offs and visuals to create compelling “sells” for stories.Liaise with reporters and topic editors to sub-edit stories and re-work copy (as necessary) to the highest standards. Monitor blogs to ensure live copy is error-free and of high quality.Write accurate and effective SEO headlines and captions to improve audience engagement with our stories. Enhance stories with other assets such as photographs, videos, graphics, multimedia and key points.Curate, edit and schedule newsletters, as requiredWork across various shifts including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
