The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced OSS Engineer who would be interested in a full-time remote contract opportunity offered within the United States. Candidate MUST have the following and be clearly visible in previous work history
- Experience deploying applications on cloud infrastructure (Open stack or VMWare) with open stack certification preferred.
- Experience on deploying, configuration of micro-service applications & web services on Kubernetes. Experience deploying applications using helm charts.
- Proficiency in FCAPS and network management system tools in the telecom domain.
- Perform installation and commissioning of NOM (Network Operations Master) and NetAct Systems in the Lab, customer Lab and productions environment.
- Support and execute regression testing and ATP of NOM/NetAct in the Lab, customer Lab and productions systems.
- Perform integration of NOM/NetAct with various other Network elements for FCAPS functionality.
- Participate in NetAct/NOM Software Upgrade and be responsible for whole or portion of the upgrade tasks.
- Fast customer response times that satisfy customer SLAs (Service Level Agreement).
- Proactively work on issues and communicates updates to key stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues, conduct knowledge bases, and determine need for technical escalation.
- Implementation of continuous improvement practices for high process efficiencies.
- Provide on-site support (if needed).
- Implement proactive measures to address customer concerns as appropriate
- Participate in customer & internal meetings representing the OSS team.
- Creation, delivery of MOPS to the customer.
- Maintain Lab systems for use in testing and problem-solving scenarios.
- Proficiency in FCAPS and network management system tools in the telecom domain.
- Knowledge of deployment of Network management system (NMS) or Operating support systems (OSS) with installation and commissioning experience.
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS with Red hat Certification preferred.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud infrastructure (Open stack or VMWare) with open stack certification preferred.
- Experience on deploying, configuration of micro-service applications & web services on Kubernetes. Experience deploying applications using helm charts.
- Understanding of cloud native concepts and tools ex: kubernates, docker, maria db, Grafana, Kibana etc.
- Advanced knowledge on DCN (Data Communication Network).
- Good Analytical troubleshooting skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
