Job Responsibilites:
- Locate and secure interstate loads for our fleet.
- Negotiate rates with brokers, ensuring profitability for the company.
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery of loads.
- Monitor drivers’ progress and address any challenges on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of load assignments, driver schedules, and deliveries.
- Collaborate with dispatching team, drivers, and brokers, ensuring smooth operations.
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and schedules.
- Analyze the supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including documentation for shipping and receiving.
- Implement best practices in logistics to enhance operational performance.
- Work closely with supply chain teams to align transportation strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with transportation planning and dispatching processes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess transportation data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent multitasking abilities: Able to manage multiple drivers and loads at once.
- Exceptional negotiation skills: Experience dealing with brokers is crucial.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills: Familiarity with dispatching software and basic Excel knowledge.
- Bilingual in Russian and English is preferred but not required.
