Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Shop Assistant
Location: Paterson, NJ
Are you passionate about cars and looking to gain more experience in the automotive repair industry? We’re hiring a junior technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a family-friendly shop that works on all Asian and domestic vehicles, with a specialization in Ford, Jeep, and GMC.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quick services such as oil changes, visual inspections, fluid top-offs, tire air pressure checks, and bulb replacements.
- Conduct basic vehicle scanning and assist with light repairs.
- Help maintain shop cleanliness and care for tools/equipment.
-Assist senior techs
- Assist with road testing vehicles and perform quality control checks.
- Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Basic knowledge of car maintenance and repairs.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
