Home Remodeling company in based in Wayne, New Jersey for 24 years now. Most of the projects we do is in the Wayne area and neighboring towns in Bergen and Passaic Counties. Most of the work I get and do is higher end residential interior remodeling and renovations, ranging anywhere from a punch list of odds and ends to an entire level of renovation. Current projects now are outside in Livingston.
I'm looking to hire another guy to work with us. You can be just learning this trade or should have experience and a well rounded background in the home remodeling field, if not I can maybe use you as a helper, just let me know. The work we deliver to my customers is flawless which is what keeps them calling me back. I am looking for someone that loves what they do and takes pride in their work to deliver the same.
You dont have to know everything here but you MUST have some experience in home remodeling and have some knowledge or be willing and able to learn:
- Frame a wall with headers
- Demo and remodel a kitchen and bathroom
- Hang drywall and spackle
- Install floor and wall tile with grout
- Install windows and doors
- Install window, door and base trim
- Crown moulding installation a plus
- Caulk trim work
- Install cabinets
- Install wood floors and/or vinyl floors
- Painting, if you can cut in sharp lines freehand a plus (we don't do much painting)
The person I am looking for must:
- Have their own transportation
- Be professional and clean cut
- Not cut corners just to finish a job
- Big PLUS if you have your own tools
- And PLEASE be neat and leave the customer's house clean at the end of the day
- Preferably a non-smoker
This is a full time job, depending on the amount of work that comes in. As you know being in this business we can work for months straight and we can also stay home for a few days. Luckily, I have been very busy and steadily getting more calls for work than I can handle right now. You will be working in a crew of 2-3 of us, not a big crew or by yourself. Also, if you are available part time, I might be able to use you too, just let me know.
I am very particular with the quality of work I deliver to the customers. I don't pressure you to work faster, Id rather you take a little bit longer to do it right the first time without mistakes than to have to do it again…
I can start you out at $25 an hour to see how you do. If things work out, I will increase your pay quickly based on your knowledge and within time I might be able to provide you a company vehicle for you to keep all your tools in and take home with you every day.
