F/T Superintendent w/ residential building maintenance experience to assist w/ day-today maintenance & repairs of apartments, in a timely manner, amongst two different complexes (located in Randolph & Hackettstown, NJ).
Essential Functions/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Routine maintenance work/make repairs to properties as needed, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, light electrical
· Works closely w/ Regional Manager/Property Manager who will coordinate tasks
· Manages incoming service requests efficiently
· Tracks time & logs activities and work completed for each job
· Completes apartment turnovers/renovation projects as needed
· On-call to respond to tenant emergency requests/issues
Requirements:
· HS Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 5 yrs’ experience with a successful track record as a Maintenance Tech/Handyperson (references will be checked)
· Good communication skills and friendly interaction with tenants & staff
· Valid Driver’s License
· Reliable vehicle to travel to different property locations
· Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks
