Custom installation company located in North New Jersey is looking for Audio Visual Installation Technician to support installation projects in the New York City/ North New Jersey area.
Lead Installer- The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of hands on experience installing audio visual solutions for commercial customers including AV equipment such as flat panel video screens, high end speakers, audio systems, video projection units, motorized shades & speakers.
Required Skills and Experience for the Experienced Technician:
Front Projection Home Theater System installation.
Flat screen TV installation.
Multi-Room/Multi-Zone AV System installation, calibration and troubleshooting.
Pre-Wiring for A/V, networking, surveillance and security systems.
Existing A/V system service and modification
Equipment component wiring and configuration
Technical literacy: must be able to read a wiring diagram, architectural blueprint and/or schematic drawing.

Required Skills
Use of common hand tools. Pro-Active and ready to learn and work without being asked to do everything Basic carpentry skills for wall hanging equipment and installing flush mount speakers. Clean and neat appearance Detailed oriented and responsible. Must be able to provide detailed reports of all tasks completed. Must be able to follow exact instructions. Must communicate clearly enough to be understood by contractors, clients and co-workers. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
