We are seeking a dependable, ambitious, and hard-working HVACR Mechanic to join our team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Licensed HVAC professionals preferred, but not required.
Experienced with chillers, commercial steam and hydronic boilers, and cooling towers.
At least +12 years of experience in residential and light commercial HVAC work.
Expertise in installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting boilers, hot water heaters, and HVAC systems.
In-depth mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
Strong skills in brazing and soldering.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems using testing devices.
Experience with computer tablets and basic record-keeping techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer service abilities, and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively to meet schedules and deadlines.
Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, squatting, crawling, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50+ pounds.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, modify, maintain, and install HVAC systems, boilers, and water heaters.
Perform field service and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
Braze and solder pipes to repair or install components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
Conduct electrical maintenance work, including repairing, installing, and altering HVAC equipment, timers, motors, and wiring systems.
Connect motors to control panels as needed.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and perform timely repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Education, License, and Certification:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Universal EPA 608 certification.
Degree from an HVAC technical institute or school is preferred but not required.
