Location: Hackensack , NJ
Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour (with a raise to $25.00 per hour after 45 days) plus bonuses
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, assigning and ensuring they complete their work on time and within budget. This role requires familiarity with building facilities repair or handyman-type work.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
Hold subcontractors accountable for their work quality and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
Experience in building facilities repair or handyman work.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and subcontractors simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
you must have great computer skills and be very comfortable talking to people on the phone
you must also understand the value of being on time and having a sense of urgency for the clients needs
Very much a desk job . Managing 75- 100 small jobs - ( 500- 5,000 )
