We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience providing desktop support in a corporate setting preferably financial services or trading floor. This is a part time indefinite contract role with 20 hours per week required/expected.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Mid Level experience with Win10 OS, MS Teams, MS 365 Products, Iphone Basics, Wyse Terminals
Understanding of Virtualization, VDI theory, hands on experience with AV equipment
Build laptops and desktops
Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
Recommend hardware and software improvements
Track customer issues and resolutions
Qualifications:
Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields specifically financial services
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to communicate effectively with a management team that is not onsite
Excellent punctuality and attendance
Reliable communication
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor
