Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with 10-15 years of expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing outstanding technical service, excellent customer interaction, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for both residential and commercial clients.
Conduct system performance tests and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
Educate customers on system operation, care, and maintenance best practices.
Complete service reports, update records, and maintain accurate documentation.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10-15 years of HVAC service experience in residential and commercial environments.
Education: High school diploma or GED; advanced HVAC training or certification preferred.
Certifications:
EPA Type II (Preferred)
EPA Certification (Preferred)
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems and controls.
Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and practices.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying environmental conditions.
