Are you a customer-focused, detail-oriented, and energetic individual? A-1 Self Storage of Jersey City is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Handyman to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Rent Storage units & increase occupancy
Manage accounts receivable & process payments
Deliver excellent customer service to new and existing customers
Maintain a clean and organized facility
Explain lease agreements clearly to customers
Handle daily paperwork, deposits and filing
Update spreadsheets, data entry, and business files
Occasionally life & pack boxes up to 35 lbs.
Assist with minor maintenance/handyman tasks
Respond to emergency situations
Requirements:
3+ years experience in Customer Service and Sales
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google
English Fluency (Required)
Spanish Knowledge is a Plus
Must have Valid Driver’s License
Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays
High School Diploma or Equivalent
