Quality Control Associate
Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring product is of good quality and safe for consumers before leaving the production area. Employee must follow company policy and Good Manufacturing Practices.
1. List job duties:
Responsible for all production records (Pre-Op Inspection, Ingredient, Film, Nitrogen Traceability, Batch Control, Metal Detector Log)
Complete morning inspection, checking machinery is in good and clean conditions before the start of production.
Ensure employees are following GMP’s and company policy
Confirm correct ingredients are out according to recipe.
Confirm recipe and measurements.
Taste test finished product
Ensure all bags are sealed correctly Horizontality and Vertically
Confirm correct packing (film) and labels for finished product
Ensure labels are placed on package when needed
Pull boxes to complete overall inspection. Must review boxes are in good condition, correct labels were placed, bags are sealed correctly, and finished product is safe and good for consumers.
2. Required skills or knowledge:
Must be able to stand for long period of time
Basic math skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Spanish speaking
Follow directions
3. Required education:
Basic High School or equivalent
Monday - Thursday (4:30pm to 3am)
