We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and quality control measures. Responsibilities
Operate various types of printing presses, including screen printing and digital presses.
Set up and adjust press equipment for different print jobs, ensuring proper alignment and registration.
Monitor the printing process to maintain quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
Perform quality control checks throughout the production run to ensure consistency in color and design.
Collaborate with the design team to understand layout specifications and print requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process, including equipment malfunctions.
Assist in training new operators on press operation techniques and safety procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
Strong knowledge of typography, color management, and layout design principles.
Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques in print production.
Experience with CNC machining or fabrication is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to print advertising.
