We are seeking a highly organized and experienced paralegal specializing in estate matters to assist with finalizing tasks related to family member’s estate. The estate is based in New York City, and we require someone with knowledge of New York State legal probate processes.
Scope:
Expertise in estate planning, probate, and related legal research.
Assistance organizing paperwork, resolving outstanding tasks, and meeting specific deadlines.
Ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics with professionalism and discretion.
Experience coordinating with attorneys, executors, and related parties.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in estate and probate work, especially in New York State.
Methodical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Strong references and a track record of successfully managing similar projects.
Engagement Details:
Flexible project-based opportunity, with the goal to begin initial discussions in December and start the project early January.
