The primary job is soldering and cable assembly of other cables that do not need to be soldered. If you don't know how to solder but have excellent tool and mechanical skills, we can consider you. Manufacturer of cable assemblies and other equipment looking for someone with reasonable mechanical skills that can measure correctly, cut and strip cable, and will quickly grasp how to solder cables from 24ga to 12ga of the types we use. We can teach someone that wants to be taught. Must have an attention to detail personality. Mistakes get very expensive quickly. Other duties included helping unload sea containers, count/stock/stack inventory, clean up, and any other duties assigned by operations manager. Everyone participates on various projects. Must be capable of lifting up to 60# pieces by yourself and also heavier pieces with others helping. Some basic English is 100% necessary, does not have to be great, just enough to understand what you are shown how to do, and to understand other work to be done. Work starts 7:30am, 2 x breaks, hour lunch, ends at 5. OT is available on occasion and necessary. Good work ethic, can show up and be ready to work at 7:30 sharp. MUST be able to get to and from work. Buses stop within around 200 yards from our location. Legal residents only. Candidate must be able to follow directions, do EXACTLY what they are told, and which includes focusing, not bullshitting. We are looking for others as some that bullshit too much are about to be replaced if it keeps up.
