Our small business is looking for a Shipping Associate. This position will be involved in all aspects of our Shipping Department, and will also assist with assembly and packaging of products we offer for sale.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities include:
Pick, pack and ship customer orders
Receive, inspect and count incoming merchandise deliveries
Stock shelves and maintain inventory counts
Assemble, collate and/or package products
Requirements for this position include:
Standing or walking for much of your working shift
Moving and lifting cartons of up to 50 pounds
Climbing ladders to shelve and retrieve inventory
Basic computer skills
Maintaining an organized and clean work environment
Accuracy and attention to detail
Timely work habits
Good command of English language
Prior shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
