Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy and integrity within the warehouse
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage inventory movements
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory
Experience:
- Previous experience in inventory control or related field preferred
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and order picking processes
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate counting and calculations
- Experience operating reach trucks or other material handling equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of distribution center operations and processes
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is beneficial
- Understanding of e-commerce operations and inventory management is a plus
