We are currently seeking licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to help provide coverage for therapy services aboard cruise ships while docked at port. You will be treating members of the ship's entertainment staff for common musculoskeletal complaints such as aches, strains, and tension. The treatment focus is hands-on: manual therapy, stretching, massage, cupping, dry needling (if certified), and other skilled interventions.
Key Details:
Setting: Onboard the ship while docked (you will disembark before the ship sets sail).
Schedule: The cruise line will confirm your schedule approximately 48 hours in advance.
Minimum Pay Guarantee: Even if only one patient is scheduled, you will be compensated for a minimum of 2 hours.
Boarding Time: Approximately 8:15 AM.
Disembarkation: Before ship departure.
Full-Day Assignments: If you're scheduled from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, a 30-minute paid lunch is included, and you may enjoy the ship’s buffet during that time.
Independence: You’ll be working autonomously—no direct supervision or micromanagement.
Requirements: Must have a valid passport to board the ship.
Compensation:
PTs: $90/hour
PTAs: $50/hour
This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a relaxed, dynamic environment. If you're flexible, professional, and passionate about hands-on therapy, we’d love to hear from you.
