The MC Hotel, managed by Stout NYC Hospitality Group, is seeking an energetic and organized Catering and Sales Manager to join our team in Montclair, New Jersey. We're looking for a passionate and professional individual who is eager to drive our events business and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle for our catering and events business, from initial outreach to contract signing.
Coordinate event details by collaborating with the Events Director and other managers to ensure seamless planning and execution.
Manage all event financials, including generating invoices, processing payments, and reconciling receipts.
Prepare and distribute detailed BEO (Banquet Event Order) packets to all venues on a weekly basis.
Conduct month-end reporting and finalize event financials in our system (Tripleseat).
Maintain and update event menus and information across all platforms.
Sales outreach
Create event signage and menus as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in catering sales or event management.
Strong financial acumen and experience with invoicing and reporting.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with event management software; experience with Tripleseat is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
