About Us:

Located in the heart of South Orange’s vibrant downtown—where Brooklyn energy meets Jersey charm—our restaurant has proudly served up bold, flavorful Latin street food for over seven years. We’re more than a neighborhood staple—we’re a destination. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented PM Floor Manager to lead our evening operations with hospitality, precision, and heart.

Your Mission:

As our PM Floor Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader during our busiest hours, ensuring that service flows smoothly, staff are supported, guests feel like VIPs, and every plate and drink leaves the pass with care and consistency. You’ll bring a strong sense of accountability, communication, and warmth to the floor—and help create an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the PM front-of-house shift with energy, poise, and attention to detail

Conduct pre-shift meetings to motivate and inform staff

Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction—table touches are a must

Manage staff schedules via HotSchedules (6+ weeks out)

Handle recruiting and onboarding tasks, including training checklists

Program and maintain the POS system (Toast) for new menus, staff, and updates

Collaborate with the kitchen and bar on biweekly specials

Track and respond to customer feedback (including Yelp reviews)

Oversee daily cash handling and reconciliation

Support payroll and reporting duties as needed

Conduct walk-throughs to ensure DOH compliance and cleanliness standards

Monitor inventory and place orders for FOH needs

Assist with HR-related tasks, including corrective actions and performance reviews

What You Bring:

At least 2 years of restaurant management experience (Latin cuisine a plus!)

A guest-first mindset and hands-on leadership style

Strong knowledge of service standards, POS systems (Toast), and labor practices

Cool head under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills

Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus

ServSafe Manager Certification required
