Maxwell Alley, a new project opening this spring in downtown Jersey City, is looking for talented and passionate line cooks to join our kitchen team. This contemporary American restaurant will feature an elevated menu that evolves with the seasons, using locally sourced, quality ingredients. Our focus will be on house made products and innovative techniques.

Responsibilities include:
Preparation and and execution of menu items according to recipes and standards of quality
Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment and work under pressure
Keeping track of station inventory and projects needed for the following day
Maintaining professional standards of sanitation and cleanliness
Knowledge of food safety and storage
Communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
You should have professional cooking experience, preferably in a restaurant setting, as well as basic knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques and equipment.
