We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team ASAP! As part of Grubbs Takeaway
looking for a Line Cook who has experience, motivation, and willingness to work in a high-paced kitchen
As a Head Chef Cook, you will be responsible for:
For overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of food items
Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors (Stock inventory correctly and help with removing stuff from our delivery van)
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary items
Prepare food for service by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station as per health requirements
Work efficiently so all food is prepared and comes out at the appropriate time for an exceptional customer experience
Comply with all food & beverage industry regulations and safety standards
Train Line cooks
Preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards
Following all health and safety guidelines

At least 5 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen
