Responsibilities:
- Cook a variety of traditional Greek dishes, including gyro meats, souvlaki, Greek salads, and sides, ensuring each dish meets our standards of flavor and presentation.
- Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to maintain consistency in food quality.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to efficiently execute orders during busy service periods, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of meals to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with a focus on Greek or Mediterranean cuisine preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing support to colleagues during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification.
