Role Description
S. Houran USA Contractors, LLC is seeking a bookkeeper to join our team in Lyndhurst, NJ. The successful candidate will have at least five years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, at least 2 years in the construction industry. Master knowledge of QuickBooks
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Post accounts payable bills
Record and maintain 1099 vendor information
Prepare accounts payable checks in a timely manner
Accounts Receivable
Post accounts receivable invoices and maintain receivable ledger
Process payments from clients
Other Work:
Maintaining our filing system for referencing documents
Process Payroll and record payroll entries to QuickBooks
Reconciling bank accounts
Reconciling credit card statements
Insurance Audits
Position Requirements
5 Years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping
Previous construction experience is a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
