Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative. This role is in the logistics industry and involves interacting with customers and tracking delivery teams. The workplace environment is busy, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.Responsibilities: Monitor and track delivery teams throughout the day to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Handle customer inquiries effectively and professionally Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions Update customers about their delivery status and reschedule deliveries if necessary Resolve any issues related to customer orders or deliveries Use specific software for data entry and record keeping (training provided) Handle incoming calls in a call center environment Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery Utilize dispatching experience to manage and coordinate logistics operations Use communication skills to connect with customers and provide excellent service.Requirements Possess strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members Have experience in dispatching, coordinating and directing deliveries and pickups Ability to handle high volume calls and emails Proficient in using computer systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of logistics operations and procedures would be advantageous Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills Ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure scenarios calmly and effectively.
