If you want to join a company invested in you, your success, and the global community, join us as a Ports & Maritime Principal and Growth Leader.You will work in collaboration with our Market Growth Directors, Directors of Operations, and Ports & Maritime Leadership to promote and provide Ports & Maritime design expertise, leadership, recognition, and market share growth.Your time will be split evenly between Principal and Growth Leader.As a Principal, you will serve as a team leader responsible for project delivery, client satisfaction, and project & portfolio profitability. You will provide Ports & Maritime technical and/or project management leadership; responsible for the execution of quality projects in-line with Jacobs’ processes and procedures that are functionally successful, technically sound and respond creatively to client needs, expectations, budget and schedule. You will contribute and foster a positive and sustainable interdisciplinary team working environment.As a Growth Leader, you’ll drive client outreach strategies and relationship development actions, identify key pursuits and lead positioning and proposal efforts. You will be responsible for understanding the unique trends in the market and using that knowledge to work with our team to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors while serving as an important conduit between our Regional, National, and Global Market Solution (technology) Leaders, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Sales Leaders, and our operations (delivery) leadership and practice staff. Your knowledge of the market will include port authorities, local governments, decision makers, key stakeholders, and short- and long-range capital improvement plans which will be key to your success. You'll integrate with our local teams who are committed to growing our professional services portfolio in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Geographies You'll build upon your understanding of the Transportation Market, including Ports & Maritime sub-market, and organize and develop teams to pursue consulting & advisory, planning, design, PMCM, and alternative delivery work.  You'll lead client service teams for existing and new clients across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Geographies, helping develop and implement our broader Transportation market growth strategy through direct, in-person and virtual interactions with client organizations. You will lead or support building strategic win-win relationships with other consulting firms and contractors as partners.  You'll have the opportunity to immediately engage with existing pursuits in the role that best fits your skill sets and supports your career objectives. You'll have the opportunities to engage with transportation professionals through our internal technical and social communities to help you grow your sales and business development skill sets, engage with peers and mentors, and gain awareness of our global technology and project delivery platforms.  BA or BS degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Marketing or related discipline.  Substantial professional years of progressive experience in capital improvements with a specialty in Transportation projects, and a particular emphasis on ports and waterfront infrastructure.  Substantial years of management experience; developing and leading procurement and project teams.  Experience developing strategies for growth including brand development; and a successful track record of guiding proposals to a successful outcome.
