[FEU].The position reports to the Supervisor, Asset Management in the AMRC- Asset Operations – Asset Performance Management Team. The successful candidate will be a part of our advanced analytics group that supports business area initiatives to ensure value across the organization by leveraging expertise, industry associations, and corporate analytical resources.Responsibilities include:

Querying large amounts of data from Pi Enterprise server and other data sources, interpreting the data and analyzing results using statistical techniques

Acquiring data from Pi Enterprise data sources via Online Monitoring devices including transformer online monitors, breaker monitors, battery monitors, bushing monitors, and other available online monitors.

Performing advanced analytics using linear regression, machine learning, and other quantitative methods

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Work with leadership to prioritize business and information needs

Small/Medium Size Project Management – from time to time acting as a SME or team member on Project Teams.

Researching industry best practices and new methods and alternative measures for performance.

Compiling and analyzing performance statistics for communication, leadership updates, and improvement opportunities.

Working across Asset Operations to ensure effective and consistent reporting and analysis.

Qualifications include:

Four-year degree in Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred, along with a minimum of 4-7 years professional work experience required. In lieu of a degree, 7 years of professional direct, related experience will be required. The experience must be at a professional level which also includes data reporting, analysis and recommendations, along with a thorough understanding of the subject matter.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred experience with data analytics tools (Cascade, Microsoft Power BI, Pi Vision)

Knowledge of machine learning techniques, such as supervised/unsupervised machine learning, decision trees, logistic regression required.

Data Modeling experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with teammates and positions at all levels

Strong Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary with proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

Must be able to manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring aggressive deadlines are met

Limited travel may be required to departmental functions
