As a Building Automation Controls Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our building automation systems. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you will support our clients in Morris Plains, NJ and the surrounding area.Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions Provide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc. Ensure proper use of safety and personal protection equipmentYOU MUST HAVE: 2 + years experience programming Controllogix controllers using RS Logix 5000 Or Studio 5000. Technical and mechanical aptitude Experience identifying and properly using trade tools appropriately Ability to work independently Some knowledge of basic electrical, fire system, sensors, or robotics principals Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to HoneywellWE VALUE: 2+ years of experience within the construction or field service industry Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc.) Experience in controls and mechanical industry.
