Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist Manager to lead our team of stylists and ensure the highest standards of client service and salon operations. The Hair Stylist Manager will oversee daily salon activities, manage staff performance, and drive business growth while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a growing team of hair stylists to achieve professional excellence and maintain high service standards.
Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and client bookings.
Ensure adherence of all employees to salon policies.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Support Salon marketing strategies, client retention programs, and product sales programs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product innovations to keep the salon at the forefront of hair care and styling.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with significant book of business, specializing in hair cutting, and hair coloring including natural/organic treatments.
Expert in Coloring, Foiling, Waxing, Perms.
Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within a salon or similar setting.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Experience with salon management software and point-of-sale systems.
Relevant certifications and licenses in cosmetology or barbering.
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Strong knowledge of hair care products.
