Seeking ex law enforcement for driving and bodyguard services. You should have an active concealed carry permit in NY and NJ. Security licensure is a plus as needed. You should have extensive experience driving around NY and NJ.
This would be a part time, as needed position, this can quickly turn into a full time position for the right person, especially if you are willing to take on different responsibilities and tasks. Ideally you have a flexible schedule and want to make some great money working with a respectable individual outside of daily life. I would like to lock in an hourly rate and I will call and work with you as needed. This would be perfect for someone early in retirement that wants a nice side job.
Willingness to travel or take overnight trips is a plus.
Most of the time you’ll be driving someone around NY or NJ or to the airport. You should be comfortable waiting for them in the car or joining them as needed wherever they go. Sometimes there will be airport drop offs and you will return the vehicle back to the house or the office. Most work will be Monday through Friday, but the occasional weekend will be needed as well. There will be a lot of short notice calls, but I am open to agreeing to a minimum hourly commitment to work through that.
1) You must be prepared to protect this individual. You must be prepared to get in between the individual and any conflict and do whatever necessary to diffuse and protect. You may have to remove people from working areas as needed, escort them out, call law enforcement for back up as needed.
2) Must dress to impress, a blazer is required. You should take your position very seriously, opening/closing the door for the individual and ushering them to and from the door where they are going to ensure they remain safe outside of the vehicle. You must be prepared to protect this individuals life whatever it takes. This is not a stand in position.
There are also other opportunities for driving that don’t involve protection or being with the individual that you could be used for. We would prefer to pay less for any courier work, deliveries, pickups, but everything is negotiable.
Must have a good attitude. Be respectful and comfortable taking direction and orders. Can’t deal with any back talking or disrespect. Be a positive outgoing individual, be cool. Be prepared to stand up and get in the middle of any confrontation and diffuse it, keep people away from the client as needed. Situational awareness and true protection.
This isn’t about the money for the individual, this is about building a relationship of trust with someone, and to grow together.
