Personal/Office Assistant – Part-Time to Full-Time (Must Drive – Will Train Right Person)
Description:
We are a fast-paced building consulting firm looking for a reliable and highly motivated Personal and Office Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, driven, and eager to grow with a company. The position begins part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role. We are willing to train the right person.
This is not just a light office support role. We need someone capable of learning our internal systems, handling real office responsibilities, and juggling multiple priorities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Run errands (must have reliable car and valid license)
Make bank runs, pick up materials, visit city agencies if needed
Learn and use a computer program to file NYC DOB and other city permits (training provided)
Handle daily office operations including managing communications, tracking permit filings, preparing documentation
Support project managers and senior team with administrative needs
Answer phones, manage emails, coordinate appointments
Assist with task follow-ups and multi-step project tracking
Perform data entry and keep electronic records organized
Multi-task efficiently in a high-demand, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications:
Must be computer-savvy and quick to learn new programs
Must have a car and be comfortable running local errands
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on multiple tasks
Good verbal and written communication skills
Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented
Office or construction/admin experience is a plus—but not required if eager to learn
Ability to stay focused and productive with shifting priorities
Hours:
Start at 15–20 hours/week (Part-Time)
Potential to grow into Full-Time based on performance
