Device Study for Adults with Hairy Forearms

Clinilabs is now enrolling healthy adults for a research study for the development of a vital signs algorithm.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $1,675 in compensation plus reimbursement for travel. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
Qualified participants must:
- Be between the ages of 22-60
- Be in generally good health (history of high or low blood pressure allowed)
- Have a moderate to dense amount of hair on the forearm
Able and willing to:
- Attend visits in Eatontown, NJ
- Complete one screening visit, two study visits, and two phone calls
- Wear a wrist-worn study device, similar to a smart watch
- Have an arterial line (A-Line) placed in the arm during each study visit while study staff monitors your blood pressure. For more information: Arterial Lines visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arterialline
- Participate in on-site pre-qualification testing, including, but not limited to, ECG, and urinalysis
Most participants will be asked to complete one screening visit, two invasive A-Line study visits, and two follow-up phone calls. The first study visit will likely be completed on the same day as your screening visit, but may be rescheduled to a different day if needed.
Participants may receive compensation up to $,1675 for time and participation, plus travel reimbursement. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.
$75 – Screening Visit
$625 – Invasive A-Line Study Visits
$50 – Follow-Up Phone Calls (after each invasive study visit)
$250 – Completion Bonus (for completing 2 invasive study visits and 2 phone calls)
$80 – Round-trip travel visit reimbursement, with receipts
