Job Opening: Full- time Preschool Teachers (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Pre-K)
Location: Ocean, NJ
Schedule: 8:30am-3pm for Nursery
9am-3pm for Pre Nursery
Hillel Yeshiva preschool is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Judaic studies preschool teachers to join our team and contribute to the education and development of young children! Work in a supportive and collaborative environment with passionate educators who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children. Lots of room for growth!
Duties:
1. Working with preschool aged children 2 year-olds, 3 year-olds, or 4 year-olds
2. Develop weekly lesson plans.
3. Implement an age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development in their care focusing on Jewish values.
4. Teach the Judaic studies curriculum including Jewish holidays, weekly Torah (bible) portion, Jewish values.
5. Make connections from the daily activities to Jewish values throughout the day.
Requirements:
1. Experience teaching in a Jewish early childhood.
2. Basic familiarity with Jewish culture, have knowledge of Jewish holidays, aleph bet, Shabbat etc.
3. Bachelor’s Degree desired.
4. (Optional) Fluent in Hebrew.
Compensation: $50,000+ dependent on education and experience.
