The job is a seasonal tax preparation position open to either an experienced CPA, EA, RTPP or AFSP. The Candidate must live within 1/2 hour of Toms River. The job has two components. The first is to review tax returns prepared by others and to also prepare tax returns. Looking for a professional staff person that completes work accurately and at a good pace. The work can be completed in your home or office but you must be within 1/2 hour commute of Toms River. You will be responsible for picking up and dropping off your work files. The work period is February 15 to April 15. My estimate of total work hours is about 120. All machines, software & ample supplies will be provided. There will no operation or any other costs to you. The tax software is DRAKE. Knowledge of DRAKE is a must. You must be willing to prove your proficiency on your time without compensation. In recent years the range in salary earned has been $4,000 to $6,000. As I am 61 years old the right hire could lead to a partnership and or a sale of my practice after 4/15/22.
