The New York Life is seeking a Development Lead to work as a senior developer within our Digital CRM development team to design and build solutions leveraging both Salesforce technologies as well as other platforms such as AWS. They will work closely with a variety of product owners to understand the business problems being discussed, identify and quantify the business value and work with the team to build features and tools to solve those probles.The successful candidate will have significant experience with the React Javascript framework, NodeJS, Python, Java, AWS Lambda and a deep understanding of event-based/asynchronous development. Additionally indepth knowledge of the Salesforce eco-system including SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Aura, Lightning web components, Lightning Design System and the Apex language is required. This is an active development role, so the successful candidate must currently be actively writing code.The selected persons will also be involved in the design, development and implementation of web-services based solutions via REST/JSON.Required Skills:- Three or more years of experience with React, Redux and associated tooling
- Five years of experience with Javascript, Pyhton, HTML5, CSS3
- Three years experience in SalesForce development customization (Aura, Apex etc)
- Two years experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Must posess strong communication skills
- Experience with Mulesoft and/or AEM is a plus
- Experience with SOAP/XML services is a plus
- Salesforce PD2 Certification is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field (willing also consider someone with 7-10 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree)
