DescriptionMULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLECompany: AMAZON WEB SERVICES, INC.Position Title: Principal, Solutions ArchitectLocation: Jersey City, New JerseyPosition Responsibilities:Provide migration and modernization technology development directions and help shape the AWS tool chain across application migration and modernization strategies. Own the technical strategy for the AWS ISV Migration Segment, define technical standards and best-practices, and provide guidance for ISV’s migration and modernization technology development. Enable ISV technology adoption by AWS internal external migration communities. Write public facing content such as blog posts and white papers as well as speak publicly at events like AWS re:Invent. Communicate and engage with ISV and SI partners, AWS migration community, and AWS migration services at any level from executives to solutions architects.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and nine years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) hands-on experience designing and building enterprise software or distributed IT systems; and (2) managing infrastructure or cloud operations. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
