As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Identity & Access Management team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on infrastructure development or software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Working experience with Google Cloud eco-system and native Google IAM (e.g, Google Cloud Identity)
Working experience with Google Cloud eco-system including GCP, workspace experience and understanding of IAM in both GCP and Workspace (e.g, Google Cloud Identity)
Understanding of how modern auth protocols function (e.g, OIDC/OAuth, SAML) and software offerings by Google Cloud services across the IaaS, PaaS and SaaS stacks
Advanced in one or more programming language(s): Go Lang and Python
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., APIs, cloud, containers, mobile, etc.)
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
Confident and proven communicator with ability to influence.
Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with other public cloud service providers, such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, and varied SaaS offerings such as M365, ServiceNow.
Working understanding of integrating disconnected cloud services via identity federation. Both from workforce and workload perspectives.
Experience working with two or more from the following: Windows environments, networking, large scale software development and security software development
