Our clinet is looking for a Core Java Developer to join their team in Jersey City. The core Java developer will be responsible for designing and delivering next generation event processing, alerting and analytics systems within the clinets Global Risk and Regulatory Technology teamJob Title: Core Java DeveloperLocation: Jersey City, NJWork Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Contract: 12-18 monthsPay Rate: $68-$70/hrNOTE: All candidates MUST be able to work on an Experis W2. WE cannot work with C2C candidates or third parties.Responsibilities:

Design and develop distributed, high-volume, high-velocity multi-threaded event processing systems using the Core Java technology stack in an agile setting.

Develop solutions that adhere to the latest risk, regulatory, and compliance regulations, ensuring data integrity, security, and functionality.

Build highly efficient software code leveraging Core Java and Big Data technologies for various platform use cases.

Provide operational excellence, ensuring high availability and platform stability.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with Core Java.

Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.

Experience developing large-scale, fault-tolerant systems using Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, NoSQL databases, or related technologies.

Knowledge of Big Data frameworks is a plus.

Familiarity with DevOps models and tools like Ansible is desirable.

Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.

Integrity and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
