Description:
Taking a patient's medical history, shielding areas that don't need to be imaged, and positioning the patient and equipment
Operating the equipment to take the X-ray, and monitoring the video display to adjust controls and improve image quality
Working with physicians to evaluate the images and determine if more images are needed
Ensuring patients comply with safety and hygiene standards, and providing radiation protection equipment
Adjusting, maintaining, and ensuring the imaging equipment is in good operating order
Maintaining patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly
