Supply Chain Manager

Description Our client in Morris County is seeking an SAP Supply Chain Manager to join their team on a contract to hire basis. The SAP Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for master data management, transmitting purchase orders, evaluating demand planning & forecasting, regularly tracking and manage shipments that are under quarantine, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place. In addition, the SAP Supply Chain Manager will resolve inventory discrepancies with third party logistics (3PL) and oversee the product destruction process . The SAP Supply Chain Manager will build and maintain reports and summaries on a regular basis to support the business growth and ensure data is accurate and on time. Consultant must have previous experience working in SAP. Pharma experience is a plus! Hybrid schedule available! Requirements Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry is necessary Proven track record in a supply chain management role Proficient in logistics and supply chain logistics Strong background in manufacturing, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and their supply chain requirements Proficiency in using SAP software for supply chain management Comprehensive understanding of the Bill of Materials (BOM) in a manufacturing context Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize supply chain processes in the pharmaceutical industry Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex supply chain issues Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
