Systems Administrator to work on a federal program in Atlantic City, NJ. In this role, you will provide support on a multi-year, multi-procurement Voice over IP Communications Enterprise acquisition. The Systems Administrator will work in a lab environment with various levels of the contractor, vendors, and federal customer, so collaborative work methods are critical. Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders, eligible to pass the client's background check. Responsibilities- Plan, design, implement and maintain laboratory IP networks and systems consisting of multiple virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), multiple subnets, and multiple domains
- Perform System Administrator functions for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux systems, including virtual machine management and equipment monitoring/Network Management using industry-standard open-source software solutions/operating systems
- Complete software configuration management and maintain software issue tracking repositories (e.g., Redmine/Git)
- Bachelor's Degree required PLUS 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience and knowledge of the following:
- Linux
- Configuration Management
- TCP / IP
- Virtual Experience
- Working in a Lab environment
- Understanding of Systems Development Lifecycles
- Understanding of Information System Security practices and methodologies
- Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders, eligible to pass the client's background check
- Experience with System Requirement and Design
- Experience with managing and coordinating test lab configuration activities
