Description This contractor position is in support of the FAA's Aviation Weather Office requirement to conduct work for the development of new and enhanced aviation weather capabilities and systems, the sustainment and transition of legacy National Airspace System (NAS) subsystems, and other weather efforts
Expertise and Functions- Conduct quantitative analyses using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative techniques in the areas of procedural implementations and performance issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor's Degree in operations research or industrial engineering, or applicable science (e.g., Meteorology)
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- FAA program experience highly desired
- Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
