Job Title: PLC EngineerJob DescriptionThe Automation Engineer will conceive, develop, and execute projects to automate processes, improve quality, reduce operating costs, increase yield, and minimize downtime. This role involves designing new high-speed equipment and machinery, sourcing and installing purchased equipment, leveraging continuous improvement tools, and integrating innovative assembly technologies into manufacturing processes.Responsibilities
Design new high-speed equipment and machinery to support production and process engineering needs.
Conceptualize, source, evaluate, qualify, test, and install purchased equipment.
Modify and/or integrate existing equipment to improve efficiency and output.
Introduce innovative new assembly technologies into the manufacturing process.
Test and debug automated manufacturing solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems.
