In-House Door Installer

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced In-House Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry and preferably experience in door installation. This position requires someone who lives within a 15-mile radius of South Amboy, NJ, to ensure timely response and efficient service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Install a variety of interior and exterior doors, including entry doors, sliding doors, closet doors, and French doors, in residential settings.
Accurately measure door openings and assess door fit, ensuring proper alignment, clearance, and functionality.
Securely attach hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to doors, paying close attention to detail and aesthetics.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation tasks with precision and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to coordinate installation schedules and prioritize workload.
Provide courteous and professional service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished installation.
Professional dress and appearance are necessary for representing our company to clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry.
Residence within a 15-mile radius of South Amboy, NJ.
Experience in door installation preferred.
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and maneuver objects and work in various weather conditions as needed.
