Looking for junior IT Support Tech with desktop support and system admin skills to join growing MSP/Cloud Services group. Part time leading to possible full time depending on performance. Must have experience with the following skillset:
- Windows 10 - Installation/Configuration/Administration
- Windows Server 2012-2019 - Knowledge of Active Directory domains, user administration
- General knowledge of networking concepts - Firewalls/Switches/Routers and their network roles
- General knowledge of virtual environments and storage resources (NAS/SAN) (Vmware)
- General knowledge of DHCP/DNS/IIS/SQL
- Office 365 mail/apps
- Troubleshooting Hardware/software - computer/laptop peripherals/components/printers (local & network) installations/scanners
- Resourceful problem solver, good communication skills, must have own car and clean license/backround
The candidate will be filling the role of the client support tech. Your day to day will consist of troubleshooting and resolving network issues every day on-site at client sites, responding to client support (logging tickets) on-site and remotely, and dealing with vendors when necessary. Must be located in the Princeton area, and able to travel occasionally within the tri-state area to client sites. Looking for someone enthusiastic, professional, and willing to learn about hardware/software/networking concepts and virtual environments. Salary based on experience.
