Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented millworker, woodworker, or carpenter to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing wood products and components to meet custom and production specifications. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and safety practices, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop plans.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Operate equipment such as table saws, routers, jointers, planers, sanders, and CNC machines.
Build cabinets, doors, frames, molding, paneling, fixtures, and custom furniture pieces.
Maintain quality control standards; inspect work for accuracy and finish.
Safely install millwork products at job sites when required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and designers to ensure specifications are met.
Follow company and OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not necessary; a trade school or apprenticeship is also acceptable
3+ years of experience in woodworking, cabinetry, finish carpentry, or millwork production.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Strong math and measurement skills.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with custom millwork or display woodworking.
Familiarity with CNC machines or CAD software.
Knowledge of wood species, finishes, and adhesives.
