Location: Linden, NJ 07036
Responsibilities include:
General Cleaning:
Waste Management: Empty trash cans, recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Surface Cleaning: Dust furniture, wipe desks, counters, and other surfaces
Floor Care: Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors (buffing/waxing as needed)
Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and glass surfaces
Disinfecting: Clean frequently touched surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, handrails)
Spill and Hazard Cleanup: Address spills and hazards promptly and safely
Warehouse Specific Duties:
Floor Cleaning: Use floor scrubbers and equipment to maintain warehouse cleanliness
Equipment Cleaning: Clean and maintain machinery and tools
Product Handling: Assist with moving and cleaning products, using equipment like pallet jacks
Material Handling: Dispose of plastic wrap, cardboard, and other materials properly
Office Specific Duties:
Office Space Cleaning: Vacuum, dust, and clean office areas including cubicles and common areas
Restocking Supplies: Maintain supplies in kitchens, break rooms, and other areas
Event Setup: Assist with setting up for office or warehouse events
Other Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Track cleaning supplies and notify management when low
Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as changing light bulbs
Reporting Issues: Notify management of maintenance needs or safety concerns
Locking Up: Secure building by locking doors and windows at day’s end
Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety guidelines when using equipment or handling hazardous materials
